| Full Text Optical Character Recognition Software (OCR) is a highly accurate text recognition module from Kofax®, which integrates seamlessly with WorldView’s document imaging functionality. Full Text OCR scanning software recognizes and translates printed alphanumeric characters contained on your scanned image documents, converting the image copies into electronically recognizable text to facilitate text searching and/or full text imaging. By converting your image document copies to electronically recognizable text, you have the capability to use text searches for finding specific documents and even specific content within a document. Your most cumbersome of research tasks can be streamlined with the ability to instantly locate specific words or phrases within a document or group of documents. |

| Description: |
| For optimal performance, WorldView’s Document Management Services use a full-page OCR application package, with multiple output options. Converted text segments can be stored in ASCII text, PDF, MSWord, or HTML file formats. Page formatting can be saved in the same form as the original document or removed, keeping just text from the document. Depending on your needs and the quality of your original documents, the speed of the OCR process can be adjusted to perform at highest character recognition or at highest speed. You can also preset and save your OCR settings based on your needs with the various document types you scan. OCR can be performed on virtually any document type, including bi-tonal, grayscale, and even color images. Full Text OCR application package currently supports character recognition for 18 different languages. |
